historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River

CPCCo. is seeking a Director of the Maintenance and Work Management
organization. This position follows direction set by the
President/Project Manager and the Chief Operating Officer. This
position manages numerous levels of multi-disciplined teams of
personnel responsible for services to support surveillances and
routines as well as preventive and corrective maintenance.
* The Maintenance and Work Management Director provides overall
development and integration of the work planning program as well as
providing Work Control and Work Week Management for all of
CPCC.
* In addition, this role will be responsible for the maintenance
program and have direct reports for all the Maintenance Mangers
that are matrixed to the operational field teams along with direct
deployment of craft personnel.
* Provides leadership and direction to successfully manage
maintenance activities including bargaining unit personnel and
management, work control, work week scheduling, and inventory
management associated with assigned facilities in support of CPCCo
company objectives and mission.
* Ensures requirements are met and all maintenance and work
management activities adhere to applicable Department of Energy
(DOE) orders/directives and best management practices.
* Establishes and maintains clear lines of communication across
organizations and provides the interface necessary to ensure
activities are progressing as scheduled.
Basic Qualifications
* Director Grade 25 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination
of education and experience plus 15 years of relevant
experience.
* Director Grade 26 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination
of education and experience plus 15 years of relevant
experience.
The higher posted level has a greater scope, complexity, authority,
impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based
on the needs of the company and the candidate's education,
training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science Degree is preferred.
* Strong regulatory background is essential.
* Ability to lead diverse groups and development of future
leaders.
* Strong knowledge on maintenance improvement protocols and
enhancements.
* Familiarity with development and execution of the enhanced
maintenance scheduling processes
* Extensive knowledge as well as direct experience with union
personnel or HAMTC oversight.
* Experience leading and managing customer interface (including
DOE, DOE HQ, DNFSB).
* Knowledge of EVMS principles including cost account management
and variance reporting for analysis.
* Maintenance and Operations experience.
* Experience working for the Department of Energy (DOE).
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo
takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and
responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or
experience relative to internal peers and the external labor
market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours
per week):
* Grade 25: $236,775 - $311,525.
* Grade 26: $272,388 - $358,363.
