MD/DO - Psychiatrist (Locums)

Overview (Duties include, but are not limited to)

---Must be competent and qualified to perform appropriate outpatient care services.
---Must be competent and qualified to perform individual therapy.
---Must be competent and qualified to provide consultation to primary care providers.
---Must be competent and qualified to provide medication management as necessary.
---Shall participate in quality management and utilization review activities, as needed, clinical conferences for staff and shall attend medical staff and service-level meetings, as required.

Qualifications

---M.D. or D.O.
---Must have and maintain a current license to practice in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands that allows for the independent practice of clinical services. This license must be current (not revoked, suspended, or lapsed in registration), valid, and unrestricted.
---Must be Board Certified or board eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology (ABPN).
---Must have and maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) as certified by the American Heart Association.
---Experience within a VA facility is preferred.
