Cardiology opening: La Grande, Oregon - J1/H1 Eligible Position
Details - Full-time, permanent- Hospital employed- Four 10-hour
days per week- Average 12-16 patients per day- Scribe services
available for providers that average 15 patients per day- No Call
requirements- Full-time, permanent- Established practice with 1
full-time physician and 2 part-time nurse practitioners- Plentiful
referral base with high demand for cardiology services- Epic EHR
with Cupid module and Muse coming soon- Implantable cardiac device
management services- Supervision of stress testing procedures in
co-located respiratory therapy department- Interpretation of
cardiac imaging, ECGs and device interrogation reports- Minor
procedures including implanting and removal of loop recorders,
cardioversion and TEE- Upcoming expansion of clinic space over the
next few years Ideal Candidate - Fit is very important. The group

Hospital has signed 40 providers in the past 3 years and had
tremendous recruitment success. Other specialties include: -
Cardiology, ENT, Ortho, Podiatry, Urology, Nephrology,
Ophthalmology, Ob/Gyn, Peds, and a robust panel of primary care
providers. Compensation and Benefits - Very competitive total
compensation opportunity (525k+) which includes:- Quality
incentives up to $25k- RVU bonus based on annual threshold-
Commencement bonus of $40k- $8,000 annual CME, licensing, dues,
subscription + paid CME time- Student loan repayment- Hospital
employed- Full benefits including a 401k match- Paid malpractice
Oregon Tax Credit: The State of Oregon offers an income tax credit
of 5,000 for physicians practicing in La Grande, which is
equivalent to earning another estimated 9,930 in base salary not
reflected in the numbers above. The Credit is applied to Oregon
taxes before FICA tax and the estimate is based on tax brackets of
9% for State, 33% for Federal, 1.45% for Medicare and 6.2% for
