Reporting directly to the Manager of Surgical Services, the Nurse Educator of Perioperative Services will be responsible for the effective development and implementation of staff orientation and education in the Operating Room (OR), Pre-Op, PACU, Endoscopy, Phase II and Central Sterile Department.
The Nurse Educator of Perioperative Services will be responsible for developing and delivering educational programs related to surgical procedures and patient care within the operating room. They design curricula that address the latest advancements in surgical techniques and patient safety, ensuring that all perioperative staff are well-trained and up-to-date. Additionally, The OR Nurse Educator will evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, provide mentorship and guidance to nursing staff, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance overall patient outcomes in the perioperative setting.
