About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Fire Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our customers.Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electronic fire alarm systems and other related building system products at customer sites.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and district staff.
• Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding and obtain customer signature upon completed service call assignment.
• Participate in a scheduled On-call rotation and help to train or mentor others on the service team.
• Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently and upsell opportunities.Requirements
  • 2+ years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety systems, Access Control, Nurse Call, and Paging systems.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
  • Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyser, and commissioning devices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and overnight travel may be required.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service and maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test and retain any licenses required by National, State, and Local codes.Preferred Qualifications
